In Her Body

A womens Retreat

October 22–26. 2025 / Portugal

In Her Body is a retreat, where connection to womb and land become fertile grounds for artistry.

Through movement, abdominal massage, voice activation, and the medicine of cacao, we will map what is alive in our womb. We will learn how to create from this place and weave prayers for the womb of the mother.

In Her Body is an invitation to get in touch with the creation of life and art and to gather as one body.

Hosts

Meg, Julie, and Maisha met at a Mayan Abdominal Massage training in Guatemala. Their three energies wove together so perfectly and they dreamed up an experience of bringing together women to dive into the body and womb.

Julie led by heart and guided by intuition, is devoted to crafting embodied experiences. As a certified psychologist, body therapist, and yoga facilitator, she explores movement as a gateway to sensuality, presence, and inner liberation. A wandering dancer at heart, with a deep connection to water, Julie holds space for others to explore and embody their essence and reclaim their inner artist. She also hosts women’s gatherings, workshops and intimate circles.

Maisha guides, supports and offers the possibility of encounters with the body in movement as a therapeutic, spiritual and reintegrative practice. Maisha found her voice in the dance, where she connected with the power of having a body and thought that, being able to express her soul. Deeply devoted to Cacao, as an Earth medicine, Maisha combines dance and cacao in a prayer for the Womb of the Mother.

Meg is an artist, an earth activist, and a guardian of women and wombs — deeply inspired by the parallels between the earth body and a woman’s body. She has led Red Tent spaces, women’s retreats and workshops, believing whole-heartedly in the power of a circle of women. Her art is an ode to the feminine - whether it’s abstract painting, pressed flowers shaped into yonis, or poetic prose - she desires for all to re-wild this part of ourselves and create a more harmonious world. Meg also practices Reiki and Mayan Abdominal Massage nurturing spaces of healing, connection, and reverence.
